Headlight Vertical Aim Control Failure
Search other threads on this issue.From what I've read it appears BMW have run the water pipework for the window screen washers in the same taped bundle as the wiring loom .The water then leaks I guess with screen wash added to it which then swells and causes wiring faults. Because there is an error on the dash I suspect this is,an mot failure.

This meant the arm of the control unit was hanging down . So no warning on the IP of a failure. Temp c/m of tie wrap holding the bracket to the arm. Headlight aim is now OK. Just need to get the old thread out of the suspension arm and fit a
Had the same problem. I opened up the lens and behind the bulb there is an arm that connects the adaptive headlight motor to the bulb. It was knocked off I just popped it back on and it was fine.
