Anbefales Leave The World Behind? Ja. til tross for det litt retningsløse midtpartiet er det en lekker film å se på og en interessant film og tenke på .

Leave the World Behind may pull some of its punches in favor of an easy out, but it's still a thought-provoking, dread-inducing tale about the end of a world that has become all too familiar .
Exec produced by Barack and Michelle film – a provocative, superbly acted action drama that combines big-hitting ambition and spectacle with just enough humour to temper the whole end-of-civilisation meltdown scenario
The cast are uniformly excellent, the production design and VFX work is of the highest order, and there’s a lot of things here that tap into our (irrational?) fear of societal collapse on a national or global scale. I know, it’s rare to find a Netflix original I can actually recommend, but with caveats in place for your expectations of explosions and shootouts, Leave The World Behind is a flawed but quite prescient story for our time.
Left with a lot of questions it's like they ended it half an hour too soon . Kevin Bacon has a bit part they could have done more with his character. If you have a couple of hours to kill give it a watch however prepare for the dissatisfaction
For the whole book, you’re expecting to find out what’s caused the catastrophe that is just beginning to reach the main characters, New Yorkers who just happen to be vacationing out in the sticks when things start going wrong. Many will be hitting play on Leave the World Behind for it's actors, and the performances are certainly worth the watch. Julia Roberts is as captivating as ever, despite playing a seriously unlikeable character – she does it well. Her chemistry with husband Clay, played by Ethan Hawke, is great; it's always fun to see this pair on screen.
After a pretty strong start, Leave the World Behind loses its way, fumbling an interesting premise with unlikable characters, unbelievable dialogue, and a disappointing ending.
Leave the World Behind is not without its flaws as the mammoth 140-minute length tends to feel like it’s stretching too long for its own good. Then comes the polarising third act, which makes me feel like it’s missing a piece of a puzzle. And for the record, I didn’t read the novel so I’m just judging the movie on its own merits.
