Renault Z.E. Forum Hello, I know there have been multiple threads about this error message but none seem to fit my situation. I drove the Zoe on a 80 mile round trip on 2nd January with a charge in between. When I got back there was 15% left. I switched it on on the 10th and it said the battery was drained and error message "check electric system" appeared.

I had Electric system fault when my 12V battery was empty. Car was sitting at cold weather for more than week + old 12V battery. When I charged EV error was gone. An old battery will be old and not hold a charge. Charging the main battery wont revive the main, so best to check the 12v voltage or discharge and if so replace.
