01435 Brake Pressure Sensor 1 G201
Hi guys, I have run a scan on my Audi A3 8P 2.0tdi Quattro and I have 3 fault codes present 17057 - Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Circuit (Q12): Electrical Fault 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) 012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit 01316 - ABS Control Module 013 - Check DTC Memory My full scan is listed below Fault 01435 highlighted ne to the fact there was an issue as the ESP light remains constant on the dashboard.
G201 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (DTC 01435) | Audi A2 Owners' Club
So it looks as if my brake pressure sensor(s) on the master cylinder are playing up. The ESP light came on last week and after scanning it with VCDS the code P01435 Brake Pressure sensor 1 (G201) Intermittent electrical fault was found.
Hi guys, had my esp light come on this morning, got this code '01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201): Electrical Fault in Circuit ' Ross tech wiki says Possible Causes Brake Pedal Switch (F) faulty/jammed Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) faulty
01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) 012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit
If Part Number 1K0-698-517-B is compatible, using the Repair Kit allows to replace the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (which contains the (N55) Hydraulic Unit and (G201) the Brake Pressure Sensor 1) separate from the Control Module which will reduce the Repair Costs.

Fault code 01435 indicates a problem with brake pressure sensor 1 (G201). Despite replacing the brake switch, the issue persists, suggesting wiring faults or sensor failure . Inspect the sensor’s connector for corrosion or damage, test sensor
Replaced G201 pressure sensorno change. I will flush and bleed the brake fluid but I have a feeling that won't do anything either. I hate to think that the ABS module is at fault here.ugh. Anyone had to deal with this BS code? Thread:
Fault code 01435 indicates an implausible signal from brake pressure sensor G201 . Despite replacing the brake pedal switch, persistent errors often stem from sensor wiring faults or connector corrosion.
The fault is not for the brake switch, it is for the "pressure sensor - G201". This is a sensor which measure *brake fluid pressure* (NOT brake pedal position). This sensor is integral to the ABS/ESP control module. The first course of action would be to perform Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)
The 01435 – Brake Pressure Sensor 1 fault code is a common occurrence in Audi vehicles, caused by the failure of the ABS pump and module , and resulting in an illuminated ABS light…
I have the abs and traction control lights on. 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201): Implausible Signal There is a lot written about this online. Apparently the abs modules of this era were very poor with a common failure.
To check the Brake Pedal Switch, go into Control Module, 03 ABS Brakes, and 08 Measuring Blocks. From there, find the brake pedal and monitor it as you pump it. If it doesn’t change states, you’ve got a bad pedal switch. For the Pressure Sensor, the Wiki says you need to perform Brake Pressure Bleeding, then Brake Pressure Sensor 1 Basic Setting.
From Ross Tech Wiki: 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201): Implausible Signal Possible Symptoms Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active Possible Causes Brake Pedal Switch (F) faulty/jammed Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) faulty Possible Solutions
Re: Interesting codes .. 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 G201 (18Tdesign) put a brake light switch in it! I would def start there and have fixed cars with this fault by replacing the switch. just dont push the plunger of the new switch down as it will be worthless at that point.
Was checking my old scans, and the last time I came across that code was back in 2017. In my case, it was this variant of it: 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) 48-10 - Supply voltage - Intermittent Other than cleaning the ABS sensors at the time (probably around MOT time), I don't recall
Hi there, I am trying to fix the dreaded beeping accompanied by the ABS, ESP and Parking brake lights being on. From previous topics, it looks like the most common culprit is the ABS module, which I sent out to be repaired. Now, I have put the repaired ABS module back in and I have communication with VCDS, but now I have the above code and the same lights are still on.
